The opportunity

The Role:

 

The Facilities Maintenance Manager provides direction, leadership, and coaching to the plant maintenance staff. The ability to diagnose and fix while leading others is important -- as well as the ability to make recommendations related to facility issues – HVAC, plumbing, industrial air compressors, electrical, filtration, fire protection, facility security, building maintenance. Areas of responsibility include plant auxiliary systems, equipment maintenance, and facility maintenance. Ensures Maintenance Department objectives are met including project, cost, productivity, quality, and safety factors.

 

The Requirements:

  • BS Degree in a related engineering or manufacturing field preferred (or commensurate experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance management and leading maintenance teams
  • Direct experience working with 3-phase 480-volt electrical equipment, cooling towers and chillers, industrial filtration and Hi-Vac systems, industrial fire prevention systems
  • Experience in coaching and developing teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to compile and study data for predictive maintenance analysis
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Strong proficiency in MS365
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language effectively
