The primary function of the Spinning Technician is to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on spinning equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and report problems to management.
• Maintain spinning equipment, including spindles, bearings, belts, and filter systems.
• Communicate effectively with machine operators and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and required PPE.
• Use computer systems to locate parts and maintain inventory needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Mechanical/technical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work a 8-hour shift while standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a cotton dust environment with temperatures of approximately 85–87°F.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.
